HUD Gives Cities HOPE, by Revitalizing Distressed Public Housing
The U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) secretary, Shaun Donovan united with other officialsin Jersey City and Trenton, to declare that both cities will receive a HUD HOPE VI Revitalization Grant to revitalize public housing developments into multi-income communities. The HOPE VI, was created to eliminate severely distressed housing by refurbishing buildings.
